Zelda U is open world, from the clips we've seen it's already clear it has more significance then many of the locations shown in TP, what do you do in an open world game? You spend the majority of it in the overworld so obviously they'd focus on that it's common sense, I think you're mistaking your own view as one shared by everyone else, believe me most people are hyped for the game. The biggest builder of hype for big franchises is suspense and unknown, nothing beats seeing something for the first time, Zelda already has the name to generate hype and the first time people are shown other parts of the game is when it goes into full gear. |
A lack of coverage does not build hype, it defuses hype.
And no offense, but I believe it is you who are incorrectly assuming your own views are shared by the majority. Me, I am hyped for the game. I am a hardcore Nintendo fan. But I also recognize that I am in the minority and that the average mainstream gamer in 2016 doesn't care about Zelda U. Don't make the mistake of thinking that because you are hyped, everyone else is.
