Here are the reasons
-the HD graphics and the open world is giving Nintendo a lot of trouble
-they want the game to be perfect
-it will probably be released with the Nx
Remember that
-almost every Zelda game has been late or pushed back
-almost every major WiiU game have been late or pushed back (xenoblade, yoshi, starfox, pikmin 3, donkey kong, FE x SMT, Mario kart 8, yes I know Mario kart wasn't pushed back, but it was late, I am a 100% sure that Nintendo was aiming for a fall 2013 release, because why release Mario kart in may? Seriously, why unless they have no choice? So the game was 6 month late IMO)
