Sorry mate but this simply isn't true, Zelda will always be a hyped game like MK no matter how much they show of the game, they only need to start showing it around 6 months from release tbh and people will be hyped. The's no point showing it now because if it's not any closer to release it won't change anything as hype doesn't take long for games like Zelda to build it only takes one trailer and that's it.

In case you didn't notice other things hurt the Wii U long before Zelda U became official.

Since you've deleted my quote, I'm not sure which particular points you are responding to here, but if you look back at previous Zelda games like Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword, Nintendo did not wait until they were 6 months out to start the hype train. 11 months out from those, (assuming a November 2016 release for Zelda U) we'd seen plenty of footage, including substantial gameplay, and the internet was abuzz. 

Zelda U isn't even on the radar right now except for the hardcore Nintendo faithful.
