Just bringing the multiplayer features up to date with other shooters (voice chat!) will be the big thing that needs to be done. Hopefully NX will make this easy by finally having a Nintendo console up to date with online multiplayer. Full local multiplayer would be awesome too, since I assume there will be no more gamepad with NX. Though that will significantly alter how the game plays. Hopefully they find a way to keep the map and super jump features without the gamepad.
