That's wishful thinking. Third Party hasn't helped Nintendo since the Gamecube.
Except for Wii their home consoles have been declining since the SNES.
Handheld market is in a heavy decline. Maybe Sony bringing no new handheld at all will help a little bit.
And Nintendo combining console and handheld might probably lead to another underpowered home console no one really wants and no major third party or at least no western third party develops for.
Nintendos next gen is very far from guaranteed success.
