Indeed. They should partner with Microsoft instead, squash Sony together and then duke it out against each other in one last epic showdown generation before console gaming dies altogether (we're two or three gens away from console collapse)...

I'm curious. Why do you think we're two or three gens away from a console collapse? Also ( in regards to your other comment) how has Microsoft broken the barrier between PC and consoles? If anything I see Sony doing that with things like allowing SFV to be played on both platforms online (while MS said no dice).
