Last years PSX had EA giving 3 free psn games... nothing fun and free this year sadly, but they do pop up sometimes with good sales offers, heck Ninty gave out free copies of Mario Brothers Deluxe for the 3ds last year or so when you set up a NNID and linked it to an email.
There is free stuff for everyone, just not all the time!
