Ur missing the point, the install base of 3DS was only a few million when OoT released so the game had legs because people kept buying the game as they bought a 3DS. MM3D is far more front loaded because at this point the majority of people who want a 3DS already have one.
When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.
