I know this is out of topic, but I love how Windows computers are so good and inexpensive, while Apple products are so underpowered and expensive.

I'm currently using a $900 PC that has a 23 in. monitor(runs 2k smoothly, 4k decently) and intel i5 processor( 2.9 GHz), while a $1,500 Apple computer will be like 1.3 GHz processor with 1080p only.

Back on topic though, that's a lot of money to spend on a PC. If you really want to spend that much, then make it where you can easily upgrade it for future use. I would recommend the newest Skylake processors. They're amazingly efficient, and they only get more efficient with top-notch Nvidia graphics.

A lot of the Apple price tag sadly is the Brand name, much the same as a pair of shoes increase in cost by $50-100 when you add a Nike logo on them, people have become loyal to the brand and are willing to pay that extra bit to fit in while sitting at starbucks, sadly you can't see the extra resolution a windows laptop offers from the other side of a cafe, but you can see a glowing Apple!
