Showing too much when they haven't show anything?

Again, explain to us about X, Yoshi Wolly World and SMTxFE, Super Smash Bros, Fire Emblem Fates and other games that they showed way before release.

They don't loose anything showing it and they loose a lot hiding it.

They've shown quite a bit, overall.

We've seen the cliff scene, with Link jumping off the edge and gliding down using something very similar to the sailcloth from Wind Waker. We've seen a demonstration of Link riding Epona and using his bow, complete with bullet-time effects. We've seen footage demonstrating how you can navigate the huge world by placing markers while looking around in first-person mode. We've seen a trailer showing off a large overworld enemy that shoots lasers and Link using his bow with a weird almost-beamsword arrow. We've seen the map.

And most importantly, as their teaser this year, they've shown us a very short clip that has a lot of little details that are interesting, the most notable of which is that book with the Sheikah eye-with-tear symbol on it.

So basically, we've seen multiple types of enemies, including what amounts to a boss or miniboss type enemy, we've seen the weapon that appears to be the primary weapon in this game (the bow), we've seen map features and special items. What more should they show now?

So I'll ask again - what are they actually getting by showing it?

With previous titles, they got Wii U sales. Incidentally, they didn't show X, they teased it. Same with SMTxFE. Smash acts as a vehicle for Nintendo's other games. Fire Emblem Fates, we didn't see much of until recently. You can list off plenty of titles, but you don't seem to be able to provide an answer to my question - what do they get by showing more than what they've shown already?

Seriously? We haven't seen another enemie outside of bokoblins, and that was off-screen footage. The overworld was empty. No dungeon, not a single NPC, no town and no area like desert or forest or lake. So no, we haven't seen anything worth. No even a title.

And what can they get? anticipation to their game? And no, the showed X with a proper trailer, something that Zelda has not get after all this time. SMTxFE was announced since April 2014 and almost every time they show something, even this E3 and the release date is 2016, most likely second half. Fates got a real trailer and explanation since announcement early next year.

Again. They can win a lot, starting with confidence in the console in response to the recent rumors of being replaced next year. Hiding it just make people believe the game is ported to NX or even cancelled for the Wii U.
