At E3 Nintendo said they want to focus more on games which releases are closer. That's what they're doing with Zelda Wii U. It's a waste of money to promote that game that early. People will forget what they've seen and you have to show them even more later that it wasn't completely useless. In the end they would show too much from the game. And people won't have a "Wow" effect then. |
They promoted Twilight Princess early and that didn't prevent to become one of the biggest Zelda games with amazing sales. Most hyped Zelda ever. So no, it is actually the other way around as the hype for Zelda HD has being go down as time passes and they don't show anything.
