They've said this before. They said this well before E3, and E3 delivered literally nothing particularly exciting. If continuing to make software for the Wii U means more cheap, uninspired sequels and spinoffs no one asked for, then these words are nothing to be excited about.

I'm not usually so saucy--I try to stay positive--but they're effectively done with the Wii U. I'm sure of it. Everything halfway good still coming for it was announced years ago, before they were certain they needed to abandon it.
