I like both characters, but I just found out what you said the hard way. I had a friendly match with someone who is in the tournament with me. That person used Falco. He two stocked my Mario! I tried Fox and I was able to do the same to him, so I felt good after that. The way I see it, Mario is better against some characters while Fox is better against others. I find Mario to do very badly against characters with more range or characters who are fast than Mario.
Btw, it seems that the online tournament I am in is not going to happen. It should have start an hour ago. I haven't played any of my matches yet. The tournament director never even showed up yet.
