Minecraft would be a great announcement! But at the wrong event. Game Awards is about selling what Nintendo are doing to non-Nintendo users. Minecraft for Wii U isn't going to convert any of these people who probably already own several different consoles that can play Minecraft, and are probably already over Minecraft anyway! But how about if you chuck in a "Minecraft Steve in Smash" announcement with this, then you're having some fun.
