The cause is "fitting in"/image. It's like everything else in this world. There is a "norm". Even when Pokemon sells 15 million copies. And 90% of launch parties for it, are adults waiting on the line. People will STILL insult. Or when people like anime. Everyone else sees it as a kids cartoon. Even though shows like Samurai Jack exsist. Or being a fan of Transformers. That's cool etc. But you bring up; like Ducktales. OH NO, YOU'RE MESSED UP. They're set in their ways. But if I said sports is fucking retarded. Then they go ape shit. So you do understand the other side, after all. But will still be shit towards me.
You really have to put blame on Nintendo. After all. People wouldn't have issues with it. If it did the right things. It hasn't over and over again. You will get a lot of hate. Some people blaber out some BS. But you gotta remember. Nintendo gave us the reasons to complain & hate. You can't just convince millions of people to stop buying a Wii U. With thead posts and comments. The company is at fault for that.
