Also basically all the games are fresh and different because they're all different gameplay styles, art styles, made from different cultures for the cultural aspect. They don't need to be innovative.
My problem was that Nintendo games feel the same to me. |
But you are lying yourself, because they are not same at all and they are very innovative, just look at 3D Mario series from instance, you have Mario 64, Mario Sunshine, Mario Galaxy and Mario 3D World, all are very different and very innovative. If you think that NIntendo games are same and not innovative, what you can say for every other sequel or year release on market!?
Splatoon is not moderate received, its good received. Do you know whats was main reason on receivers were complained, it was lack of content, and Nintendo basically doubled that contend just one month after launch because they decided to promote game at that way. You for instance IGN that gives Splatoon 7.9 but after those released content they updated score to. 8.6. But more than scores about game is telling you popularity and reception from gamers.
You said "Nintendo clearly don't know how to innovate any more" and because that is not true, I mentioned current Wii U games like fact and some complete new games like Splatoon. Again, mention me only few completely fresh and innovative new IPs that are like Splatoon from those 80 games you have on PS4.
Yes, that's your problem, you dont have desire to play Nintendo games and thats OK, but again clam that "Nintendo games are all the same and that Nintendo clearly don't know how to innovate any more" is not true at all.
