Completely fresh and innovative new IP is one thing and just fresh games are totally different things. I will prove you are wrong if you name me those 80 games. :)

Thats yours very subjective opinion, but objectively for instance every 3D Mario game or 3D Zelda is having more new staffs and mechanics than half of new IPs on market, I will not even mention games that have sequels or yearly releases.

Knowing Nintendo fans fervour, I don't doubt you would try to disprove all 80 titles I post.  I just don't care nearly as much as you.

I'm not happy to see it and I really do want Nintendo to do well but I kinda think they're probably one of the most complacent and least likely to try new things.  And people are growing older and want to try different stuff.

OK, then mention me only few completely fresh and innovative new IPs that are like Splatoon from those 80 games.

Its obvious that Nintendo is not doing well with consoles sales this gen, even if they games are selling great, but you can't say that "their games are all the same or that they are not innovative", because that is not true at all. And I already wrote to you that Nintendo is trying new things all the time, but they mostly implaying those new things in existing IPs, but also in completely new and great IPs like Splatoon.

And of course that some people want and different games (multiplatforms) beside Nintendo's, also you have some people that dont love Nintendo game at all.
