Once the console was inmensively successfull thanks to be a cheap dvd of course it was the console with more games. Without a dvd it would have done shit. Dreamcast came after, GC exclusives were much better at first and Xbox made online gaming on consoles popular, both more powerfull too, even Dreamcast was more powerfull in some aspects. DVD is the only reason why its numbers were so big at first. Also most of those games were shovelware, Ps2 was like the Wii of its time, and also lot of people use it just to play karaoke, eyetoy and things like that. I remember that as it was yesterday.
