Where did Nintendo state they were aiming for a 2016 release date of any sort?
So far the evidence:
1: Zelda U was delayed a year (So was Skyward Sword)
2: They did say they would reveal NX at E3 as well as show Zelda U (They showed in depth Skyward Sword footage with the reveal of Wii U)
3: Wii U sales are bad (Wii sales when they revealed Wii U was even lower than Wii U's are now, it didn't make them rush Wii U to market. Also keep in mind Wii U sales spike when they release 1st party software for Wii U, not so much with the Wii at the end of its lifecycle)
None of this is proof that NX will release next year.
