Its actually an honest question for those who know about game development. How is this game not technically possible on the wii u, unlike zelda wii u and xenoblade chronicles x.

Maybe the CPU is too weak for the kind of game they're going?... Doubt it.  But I think they mean while the Wii U has specs that require more resources and time to downgrade.  I think they don't want to take the time to port it. the NX will be more like the other current gen consoles in terms of specs and ports will be easy like they are for the PS4 and X1
