Maybe not, but the 3DS is almost as irrelevent as the Vita in the UK.

I don't believe that at all, according to this site 3DS has sold over 6x as much as Vita this year in the UK and about 6x as much lifetime as well. Even if this site is off by a large margin, 3DS is still significantly more popular than Vita in the UK.
