I love Batman. He's awesome, but I can admit the Schumacher ones were not to my tastes. The same with the Star Wars prequels. They were made for a younger audience and felt more like toy commercials than movies. I don't think being critical makes someone a hater or enjoying something makes someone a fanboy. People want different things from a series.
