Thanks for the summary, just a little remark: what you wrote seems to be far away from 9.0 (that's 9.0 out of 10, right?), that is the final mark and the review kinda don't fit together - at least that's my first impression.

I was only stating that the game took its best parts from other games. Playing Tomb Raider in some instances reminded me so much of a weak Far Cry with the hunting and customizing weaponry from your game. The map layout with the animal teriroties listed and more. The things I actually hated are the few things I listed in the paragraph before the verdict. Its an amazing game and GOTY worthy in that light. It took the best parts of three different games essentially. Uncharted, The last of Us and Far Cry. This isnt a full review as well...its a slight one. A full review from me would be fully fleshed out with more information. I was just trying to explain my reasons for the comparison and it ended up looking like a review. Sorry if I left things out. I've never written even a slight review before. Heh Again....the whole point of this topic was to state the reasons why Tomb Raider sold me on Far Cry 4. The map and crafting system was essentially a commercial for Far Cry. Taking from other games is only really cool if you're doing it right. Look at Shadow of Mordor. That game is largely Assassins Creed and Batman: Arkham Knight.

P.S.

Rise of the Tomb Raider didnt quite hit Uncharted 2 level but you will get the feeling that they were attempting to replicate it throughout the game once you get nearly halfway through. Truly a great game.
