I think the hate on the prequel are kind higher than they are deserved. Kinda like the latest Zelda game that keep on being on the hate list of fans.
I really hated episode 1, with Darth Maul and maybe Qui Gon being the only good thing that the movie had to offer. I thought ep2 was ok, while ep3 was pretty good imo.
