I'd personally rather if you just linked to a post you had an issue with and countered the arguement within it, rather than a blanket statement trying to avoid directly insulting anyone but at the same time trying to insult those you feel disagree with the OP. That doesn't really invite "Discussion" that would end up with threads of "I think this is true of X" and nothing but posts agreeing with it. Would get boring fast.

Oh I agree with you 100%. Especially my second post is a blanket statement. BUT! And once again, omfg, never did I state my support for the OP. NEVER.

Please disagree with it, with all your heart.

My second post is especially "rude" because they guy replying to me, kurasakiichimaru, completely threw my point away, created another one and got defensive and angry.

 

Also, the "eject, eject!" wasn't silly enough for you? I wasn't really all that serious. Being a fanboy does not make you a terrible person. This site has thousands of fanboys defending their cause, me included. They do get slightly irrational at times, and thats a bit sad. That is what leads to comments like the first one, in the entire thread, by UltimateGamer1982.
"People are too busy playing games to worry about such trivial stuff". Thats a silly comment, and it completely shuts down discussion and at the same time disregards what hundreds of thousands of people do for a living.
S.T.A.G.E. says the entire OP can't be taken seriously, because playstation is the best.

Are you saying I'm wrong in thinking these posts are simply fanboys refusing a conversation?

 

The OP starts with "PS4 is dominating the console market". Guys, you won already. o.o The OP is NOT attacking the playstation or the playstation brand! No need to defend it!

He then continues by saying, the competition is big in these 2 specific areas. Why isn't Sony big in those areas?

 

And a lot of people are giving this a serious thought and there are many good responses. There are also a lot of ... those kind of responses. Am I crazy for saying this?

 

I did not mean everyone is a defensive angry kid. I might've even acted like one myself. I still think too many fanboys disregard discussions and conversations because hashtag (insert brand here) master race. That's sad.
