The justification for the prequel's lightsaber fights being over choreographed is the argument that story wise, light saber fights don't make that much sense being so dynamic. At least in the mythos set by the original films.

Action wise it's an amazing spectacle, but at the same time it makes it hard to convey any emotional character through them.

At the same time, that actually makes sense because Jedi's are supposed to keep their emotions at bay, you would expect emotional under trained jedi like Luke to be more sloppy then Anakin or Obiwan.

But there are a lot more problems with the prequels than just the lightsabers. Granted, the issues mainly arise when you consider the films in the canon rather than standalone. And the fact, that Lucas pulled things from the trilogy that made no sense in the prequels, like the padawan training.

I think it makes alot of sense, the padawan training? how doesnt that make sense? also i dont see the dialogues bad, or even the acting, or the story. they are all fine to me. Yes even the famous. I dont like sand, and that. I DONT MIND IT! WHen i watch it, i seriously dont see how people react so bad over it. Its just a dialogue. That people can say. Its possible. Acting wasnt bad at all, Hayden christensen did a great job to perform anakin, as a fuel hatred jedi, who becomes a sith and just unleashes his fears and anger he had inside him, if you are as powerful as him, you would want this. Then as he became darth vader he became much more mature in a way, and became even more bad-ass, thats called AGING. And there were way more emotions imo in the anakin vs obiwan fight than any other. The emotions in both were giving me goosebumps. With the epic music in the background. Also the prequels gave us cool planets. Awsome things. I know alot of greenscreen, but it looked cool. The kamino planet felt real, the only time i noticed there was a green screen kinda was at the jedi temple in episode 3. Utapau, the new weapons, factions etc are awsome.

I just don't think a major chunk of people will ever agree with you.

Personally, I HATED Anakin in the second and third movies. He ruined the prequel series more than Jar-Jar binks did for me.
