I don't watch those shows, so I can't speak to them. That said, if you live in a major city. You are going to run into gay people. Unless you are in some podunk town, most gay people aren't hiding who they are these days. I think you have a case of confirmation bias. If you are looking for something. You'll find it. I'm not sure how having three lesbian characters, none of which are portrayed in a positive light, is pushing an agenda. Usually when you push an agenda, you want the subject of that agenda to be seen in a positive light.

Running into gay people, sure. Gay people being in every TV show's main circle of characters. That's overrepresentation.
