Sony getting away with paid online is the greatest current gen achievement so far.

I certainly give credit to Sony for "free games." But most PS+ subscribers aren't there for free games, many don't even download the free games offered.

That isn't the point, the point is it's a better service than what XBL was because we got free games. That's why most people don't complain about PS+, if it didn't come with free games, people would be complaining a shit ton. Plain and simple.

Years ago when PS+ was a new service I said this was merely a stepping stone for Sony to charge for online play. Sony fans told me I wrong, got angry, etc.

A few years later, it came true via PS4. My prediction was people would defend Sony because of what the service offers. Even though Sony's primary goal was to charge people for online play. The demand for online play is bigger than "free" games.

That's exactly the discussion that's happening right here. No need to argue, I already saw this coming.
