Oil isn't as precious as it used to be. The biggest producer right now are the USA and the warehouses are full. So I think the world will be perfectly fine if Russia decides to no longer export oil. Even if, and that's a big if, they can sabotage exports from Saudi-Arabia, Kuwait and UAE. In fact, russia already exports mainly to asian states such as china and less than ever to europe.
Only thing that could be troubling would be if russia decides to stop exporting gas. Every developed nation in the world has alternatives from russia, but those would be quite expensive. But really, russia isn't as powerful as it wants to be. At the end of the day, the NATO can hit russia way harder with sanctions than the other way around. But both organizations are criminal, if you ask me, there is no good or bad, just wanted to make that clear. You know how crazy fast they could end the syria crisis if they were working together? Not only could they save thousands of lifes, they could also stop the refugee crisis. But instead, they decide to play Kindergarten over who is gonna be president in syria and who isn't. It's really silly, they should first bring peace to the region and can argue afterwards. But no no no no, I am right, the others are not, lalalalalala. So fuck both of them.
