Nintendo of Japan now selling the Wii U Gamepad Separately

Nintendo of Japan doesn't exist mate.
That's just for replacements of defect gamepads. Nintendo want the people to play on their Wii U until the NX launch in late 2017. So they offer them new gamepads if they need them.
