Wether or not it's a waste of money is squarely up to Sony. If the deal provides a significant financial return over a long term period, I'm sure they'd be more than satisfied, regardless of what 1 user on VGChartz says about what they should've done, without knowing how much money was spent and how big the return was, is, and will be.
Besides, if we are really playing this game, why don't we talk about Fallout. MS has exclusive marketing for that, yet it's beasting on the PS4
