Find it odd people mentioning the lack of Split screen co-op as a reason for less sales, the intention behind taking out 2 peoples ability to play through the campaign on a single copy of the game should have led to more purchases of the title. If not for the obvious people not wanting to buy it because they can't play it together locally, I'd imagine that would make for a tough sell to some households who have kids who would play it together if it is even common knowledge that the game can't be played local co-op, which I doubt it is.

Would say the dragging out of the story for me is the worst part, I loved the first trilogy and Halo spoilers from 4 > even got a bit Onion cutty at the end of H4 with the sacrifice that Cortana made to protect the chief with her bubble of love around him, but from some of the promo stuff I see that Cortana is in 5 which not only drags out the story longer but kinda retcons me feeling bad for a characters death in the series and her being saved from Reach at the cost of the whole Noble Team was for nothing if they had a spare laying around somewhere? Meh, just salty I guess myself, I've no doubt that when a Xbox1 finds its way under my TV later this Gen a copy of H5 will be with it tho. Just wasn't the game to tip me over to buying one right now.
