You don't understand that if it became a FP(doesnt have to be S) game it would still be Zelda. It wouldn't be Halo or Doom... It would still be an awesome adventure game you love but would give a new perspective and new style of gameplay. I like old zeldas but the last 4 were the same game...sure Majora's mask introduced timed quests in the the mix and Windwaker was cell shaded with anoying boat musical sections and there was a wolf gameplay in Twighlight Princes...but they play the same, sound the same and have the same tone. If it became a FPS game and you played it you'd most likely like it. Then you may give other good FPS games a fair shake and might finally get why they kick ass. This is called gaming growth... |
What I like most about Zelda is the gameplay, and that includes 3rd person perspective. Making it a FPS would change gameplay very much. As a lot of people said about Metroid Prime, it's like they made a Zelda FPS, but with other story and characters (I don't mind). I played it, because I thought I could like it, but I didn't enjoy it, although it's a Nintendo game and I'm a big Nintendo fanboy. It showed me that I still won't like FPS games (tried them out about 10 years ago, don't know, I think counterstrike).
I'm glad Zelda will stay 3rd person, it really wouldn't be the same game if it changed perspective.
