Best console ever.
CHRONO TRIGGER, ZELDA A LINK TO THE PAST, FINAL FANTASY 6, SUPER METROID, SUPER MARIO WORLD 1 AND 2, TALES OF PHANTASIA etc. etc. etc. I can go on and on and on and on
This system, to me, has the most games that we will look back on and say, "wow, that is one of, if not the, best game ever made." I don't know what magic existed during that era, but it was beautiful. And I only played most of these games in the late 2000s (I was born in 90). Not to mention, most of the 2d art is still gorgeous. Also, the consistent high quality of the soundtracks back then will never stop amazing me.
