There is no dipping quality, really.
As much as I can understand 5 wasn't as good for what it could be as 4 was to the PS2, 5 is still better than 4, and 6 is definitely superior to 5.

Sure there is more competition nowdays, but GT quality hasn't been dropping, at all, it may not cause as much "wow" as it once did, but that's really not the same as dipping quality, just better competition.

GT6 is an amazing game.


They're great games, sure. But GT3 was revolutionary. GT use to do things that no one ever saw before and given the tech, GT5/6 didn't push things forward like the PS1 and PS2 titles did.
