How will the 3rd partie's use of amiibos in the future be?

The latter: Eh, there are small bonuses in games like Mega Man Legacy Collection, but other than that, I only see Nintendo really supporting their games heavily with amiibo.

Both are relevant, but I was thinking more of companies letting Nintendo make amiibos of their characters. There's a lot of potential to attract non-Nintendo fans into amiibo, just imagine how well the Cloud figurine is going to sell. Would they make their games compatible with their amiibos, just to get whatever fees they get for the license? How would multiplat games change to adapt this?
