Wow that was sudden. I'm playing ridge racer 5 on PS2 as we speak. Would be awesome to slide the disc in my ps4 if it happens.
If it requires buying it again like the classics on PS3, forget it. I've got like 30 ps2 games I don't feel like buying again just to play them on ps4.
