1. I don't want people to be excited. I want people to be more reasonable. 2. You don't believe that yourself. If this E3 had had a Zelda trailer (which isn't a new big game), the reception of the presentation on the whole would have been a lot more positive. Like, "Who really cares that a lot of time was spent on amiibo, Zelda looks fantastic." 3. That's exactly what I am talking about. The presence or lack thereof of a few certain IPs determines whether everything else was either good or bad. - "Nintendo isn't making Super Mario Galaxy 3, I am pissed. This presentation was awful." - But if Super Mario Galaxy 3 had been there, then the presentation would have been good despite the rest of the content being identical between the two scenarios. |
Of course that makes the difference. I mean, people like me would have a game to be excited. You can claim it was a "good" show if the content you expect and want is there. Would you said it was a good show if the content showed does not appeal to you, outside of the name of the company?
Talking about sheeps.
