Why don't we consider fat people attractive?

I wouldn't just call it society's standards...there's definitely something more attractive about someone who's fit than someone who's fat.

Everybody's beautiful on the inside, but that doesn't mean you should let yourself go...that's being lazy and not healthy for you. I'm overweight, not huge, but a little pudgy, and I know it. I would look better if I was thinner and there's not much more to it. I can be comfortable with myself as I am, but I can also work at it and get in shape, and there's obviously something more attractive about a girl that does that too.

I think our society has considered obesity a disease, when (a large majority of the time) it's laziness and not sticking to diet and exercise. Nowadays mentioning obesity is like mentioning cancer, and while the obese are growing in numbers, it's almost completely curable...eat right and exercise people!
