Always tough between Super Mario and The Legend of Zelda but on the balance of everything and given that platformers are my favourite genre, I give it to Mario. Happy birthday to the great man - people can and do question whether his contribution to Nintendo today is a positive one, but in terms of lifetime achievements literally no one in gaming can compare with him.
