I don't see how it's such a big year for either, it seems in line with what they got for 2014/2015.
3DS 2014-Bravely Default, Professor Layton: Azran Legacy, Yoshi's New Island, Disney Magical Castle, Kirby Triple Deluxe, Mario Golf: World Tour, Tomodachi Life, Final Fantasy: Curtain Call, Ace Attorney vs Professor Layton, Smash Bros 3DS, Pokémon Art Academy, Fantasy Life, Pokémon OR/AS, Personal Q
3DS 2015-Majora's Mask 3D, Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, Codename STEAM, Fossil Fighters Frontier, Story of Seasons, Xenoblade Chronicles 3D, Etrian Mystery Dungeon, PDZ+Super Mario Edition, Little Battlers Experience, Animal Crossing: HHD, Chibi-Robo: Zip Lash, Legend of Legacy, Triforce Heroes, Yokai Watch, Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon
3DS 2016-Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam, Final Fantasy Explorers, Project x Zone 2, Fire Emblem Fates, Hyrule Warriors Legends, Bravely Second, Dragon Quest VII, Dragon Quest VIII, Metroid Prime: Federation Force
Wii U 2014-DKC Tropical Freeze, Mario Kart 8, Hyrule Warriors, Bayonetta 2, Super Smash Bros Wii U, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, NES Remix
Wii U 2015-Kirby Rainbow Curse, Mario Party 10, Splatoon, Super Mario Maker, Yoshi's Woolly World, Mario Tennis, Amiibo Festival, Xenoblade X
Wii U 2016-Twilight Princess HD, Star Fox Zero, Pokken Tournament, SMTxFE, Zelda U
Obviously both could get more titles, Pokémon Z seems inevitable along with some more localizations like SMTIV Final for 3DS and Pikmin 4 has been hinted at and could release for Wii U next year but for the most part next year seems to be a standard year for 3DS/Wii U releases.
