I guess I feel this way, too. I used to be a cop and I actually had a chance to get my ass kicked by an MMA fighter in training (and boy, did he!) so I'm not a wimp and I'm not afraid of a little blood. Still, seeing Rousey go down like that--I don't know. It was like seeing somebody I know getting assaulted. Not my cup of tea. I used to love UFC at one point. Guess I'm just not the guy I used to be.

Yeah a lot of people cry about WWE having turned PG now but really I'm far more entertained by people being athletic with good story lines rather than people and their PR teams trying to "out scumbag" the other before going in to actually beat the other person unconcious, I just don't get where the entertainment is found here? Perhaps it's the same as the people who enjoy cock/dog fights, I mean sure there is an illusion of choice that the fighter has, but in reality a lot of the time their manager / sponsers make the real choice of who they stand in the ring with.
