Is it a good idea for games developers to release a game on one console and then not release the sequel to that game on the same console.
For example, Metal Gear Solid 1 was redone for the Gamecube, with no chance of their being a sequel for the platform.
Now their is Ninja Gaiden 2 on the 360 despite the sigma version appearing on the PS3. Is this a good move by developers to introduce games to a certain audience and deny them the sequel for the same console?
To a lesser extent the same can be said about Banjo Kazooie 3 being on a totally different brand of console altogether, but i get the feeling that many people would have wanted it to stay on a Nintendo platform.
So what do you guys think?
