I bought my wii on release date because it is revolutionary and I also bought it because of the quility games lined up for it; red steel, LOZ, Mario galaxy, brawl ect. I have to say that price played no part in my decision, I still would of bought one if it were £500, besides, all the games and gadgets I've bought for it thus far total to about £400 anyway.
