| vivster said: The most logical choices are PS3 and Vita. The network connectivity is already there and so is the relationship to Sony. As opposed to any other platform, releasing on PS3 or Vita is purely a technological matter. It won't come to mobile because it needs a controller. So in my opinion the priorities currently are in order PS3, Vita and the X1. Can't really see it on Wii U since Nintendo are even stricter Than MS when it comes to an open platform for indies. I'm not saying it will never release on X1 but I do believe that the priorities are currently elsewhere. I also believe that they are already way past behind the hype window and that the increase in playerbase when they release on X1 will only be a barely noticeable bump, to the point where I'd argue that it's not even worth it. |
You really think Vita is a priority? That would be nice, I have a Vita, and I doubt its coming to Vita. Frankly, its a lot of work to port a game to Vita that isn't a 2D indie game. Right now most of Vita's support is basically just Japanese games.
I think X1 is certainly a priority given its a relevant platform and a rapidly growing userbase. I'd like to see PS3 and 360 ports given they are still popular platforms for online gaming.
