Movies, for the most part, last way too long and I generally stop paying attention. The exception would be films where something really different is going on which engages my imagination. Examples would be ... Memento, Elevator Trap, or Frailty.

Western television does not interest me except for sports. I don't watch any television series.

I will watch a really well-made Japanese or Korean series, however, because they're generally story-driven rather than "lets drag this out for as many episodes as we can before we have to think of an ending" -driven. I grew up reading books as my primary hobby--when it comes to drama, I want plot-based media. Asian series typically have a set number of episodes and thus there is steady progression. They also do actual mystery series, which I like. Liar Game, Trick, and Keizoku: SPEC 2 are some of my favorite series of all time.
