A better option would be to do a seperate review for the DLC packs. That is normally done. It's complicated with Splatoon since it came with mode, gear, maps, and/or weapon; how about reviewing each mode as it's own pack? |
If it makes you feel better, you can pretend that the actual reason behind the new score is that Black Friday is comming up and Nintendo is finally employing some of those standar industry marketing tactics. It's Ign after all. This way you don't have to bust your head thinking if it was deserved, if its the right way to do the review or whatever.
