60 Frames isn't as important as its made out to be, having a solid frame rate is the key. 2015 we shouldn't be getting games that dip and slow down, they should be optimised to the very best, if a game needs to dip then clearly the dev is aiming too high.

60 Frames is important to some genres like FPS where is actually makes a difference to how a game plays compared to a game like Tomb Raider which at a solid 30 it doesn't really need to be 60.

At the end of the day, a game running at 60 is better then a game running at 30. Does it justify a purchase if it cant reach 60? Sure, a game can still be good at 30, just not below.
