I can only imagine that it has to be a pretty significant announcement. I can't imagine them doing just 2-3 new characters and a few stages.
I'm going out on a limb and saying they will add a subspace emissary story for an additional $15. Bundled with that purchase is probably a new character and stage.
Hopefully snake and wolf can make a comeback. Seeing as how Final Fantasy won't be coming to wii u, it shouldn't matter that metal gear solid 5 didn't come to the wii u.
