I don't think we should count them to the total sales, because they are only bought by people who already have the game. There are close to no people who buy a game because of a new expansion. Some other things: why aren't we counting Pokémon Yellow to the sales of Red/Blue/Green? The changes were only minor, and nothing substantial was added to the gameplay. And what about the other incarnations of Tetris? How do we tell if a version is a remake of the original or an entirely new Tetris? |
We don't count them...Those are stand-alone game sales for WoW and The Sims...
